This pretty and practical zigzag design soap dish is made from 100% recycled plastic waste. Handmade in England by Müll Club.
Each soap dish gives plastic waste a new lease of life. Approximately 64g of plastic, which would otherwise have ended up in incineration or landfill, is recycled per soap dish - this corresponds to about 43 bottle caps. Müll Club collects the plastic for its products in Great Britain and turns it into useful and beautiful everyday objects.
Design & Functionality
The zigzag design of these unique soap dishes is not only shapely, but was specifically chosen for practical reasons. With this shape, water can drain away from the soap. Your soap sits above, not in, the drained water, keeping it clean and allowing it to dry quickly, making it last longer. The Zig Zag dish can be used in many ways, not just as a soap dish. For example, you can also use the multifunctional dish as a tray for dish sponges and brushes, jewelry or make-up brushes.
Each soap dish is unique. No two pieces look alike, as the color pattern varies.
Color Designs
Müll Club sorts the plastic waste and uses a specific mix of products to create different color combinations. Choose your color design and find out which products are in it!
Greek: This blue and white color design consists of a combination of yogurt cups, especially Greek yogurt, white porridge cups, cream containers, baby food lids and some other color-coordinated plastic containers.
Van’ish: This bright pink soap dish is made from collected plastic waste from Vanish Oxi Action detergents, toy packaging, as well as yogurt cups and lids collected throughout Great Britain. The result is a vibrant, luminous mix of pink, orange and yellow, creating a unique cheerful pattern in every dish.
Cafe: For this color design, plastic lids, mainly from cafes, are recycled. A mix of many green and blue bottle caps creates the fascinating turquoise with some red, purple, yellow and orange highlights.
Ye-O: This lively mix of bright splashes of color in green, blue, orange, white and violet comes from yogurt cups of different flavors (mainly from the YEO Valley brand).
Take-Out: The stunning black and white marbling of the Take-Out design is created by mixing black and white disposable cutlery and take-away food containers as well as other disposable plastic for on the go.
Luur Pak: This soap dish was mainly made from Lurpak butter tubs and Philadelphia cheese tubs. We get a lot of these plastics back every week, so it made sense to create a blend dedicated to this plastic waste. And I have to say, the shades of grey are stunning. So if you're into subtle shades, then this blend is for you.
