Sustainable, social, and local – this is how our own yoga bolsters & meditation cushions are made.

Locally sourced materials meet local production in the social workshop

Our organic linen yoga bolsters and meditation cushions offer stable, yet gentle support for Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and meditation. With their simple, timeless design, they blend harmoniously into your home. Handmade in Zurich, they are crafted from sustainable, high-quality materials from the local area – from the cover to the filling.

The outer cover is made of natural organic linen, woven in one of Austria's last linen weaving mills. We personally selected and collected the fabric there. Linen is a natural material with many advantages: robust, durable, breathable, and pleasantly cool on the skin – perfect for long, quiet practices. The cover is removable and can be gently machine washed on a delicate cycle.

The inner cover is made from 100% natural organic cotton from Germany and is filled with organic spelt husks from Central Switzerland.

Spelt husks – the outer shell of the spelt grain – are an agricultural byproduct that we consciously utilize as a valuable natural material. They are breathable, temperature-regulating, supportive, and adaptable – ideal for meditation and yoga cushions. The naturally contained silicic acid has mite-inhibiting properties, making it particularly well-tolerated by allergy sufferers. We personally collect the spelt husks directly from the mill and fill each inner cushion ourselves.

All cushion covers are sewn by the social enterprise Social Fabric right in Zurich, which combines local production and social integration. Their focus is on educational and employment opportunities for people with a history of displacement, to counteract social inequalities.
